Edmonton Movember Results
Top Draw gents Adriel, Will, Wilson, Mike and Pat participated in Movember to raise awareness for men’s health, particularly for prostate and testicular cancer as well as mental health issues.
Testicular cancer most often affects Canadian men between 15 – 29. As the Movember foundation says, “Know your nuts” and perform a self-exam.
No one enjoys going to the doctor and getting poked and prodded, but if detected early, men have a 98% chance of survival beyond 5 years when diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Once Mike learned that he could use his hairy genetics for good, he began participating in Movember for the past 6 years, “It’s a very easy way to do a good thing.”
According to the Movember Foundation’s website, on average, 8 men commit suicide in Canada every day. Will and Pat are both participating in Movember in memory of close friends they lost to suicide, “If there was more awareness and encouragement for men to talk about mental health issues, they might still be around.”
Don’t let these fantastic Mo’s go to waste; remind the gents in your life about prostate and testicular cancer as well as the importance of being mentally healthy.

The team raised over $1700, donated by friends and family in Edmonton and beyond. Raising donations for a good cause such as Movember, at our Edmonton Digital Agency was alot of fun, despite some employees being unable to handle seeing this whole new side of their faces. At the end of the day, there was Mo problem hitting the team’s target goal.
There’s still time to donate as well! https://ca.movember.com/mospace/13399236
