Call it an employee bonus, a staff retreat or a team building event, from an employee perspective, it’s an investment that we plan on repaying in productivity!

The staff from Top Draw and Epiar returned this weekend from a 3-day getaway to Las Vegas. This fun-filled excursion was our company Christmas gift and an incentive we have worked hard to earn over the past year.

From our fabulous home base in the centre of the Strip, we walked, we shopped, we played cards and slots, we danced, we relaxed and we laughed. And one of us even got his hands on a machine gun!

Though we had the freedom to while away our time on our own, small groups mixed and mingled as we got to know each other on a more personal level. We did enjoy an exquisite patio supper all together and then took in a jaw-dropping performance of Cirque de Soleil’s KA! In true Vegas fashion, we packed as much as we could into our mini vacation!

As we return to our desks this morning, we are a little tired but recharged and ready to tackle our projects with renewed enthusiasm and energy!

Thanks to Ken—our fabulous employer for a fantastic weekend and his endless generosity!

Not to deny their good intentions! We understand that companies often work so hard in their business that it’s difficult to find the time to work on their business. Plus, as popular as blogs are, there is still a lot of ambiguity about the benefits of corporate blogging.
