Responsibilities

The day-to-day working environment at Top Draw consists of collaborating with highly skilled and enthusiastic team members in an adaptable arrangement suited to producing the best work on an individual and team basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques and tools. Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines are critical to this position.

You must have an expert understanding of PHP and MySQL as well as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SEO implementation. Top Draw prides itself on its ability to deliver search engine optimized websites that succeed for our clients. The right applicant will be able to learn from the team as well as assist other team members in ensuring that project goals are met and timelines are kept.

Requirements

Graduation from a recognized post-secondary program in web/multimedia/graphic design or design-related field.
4+ years development experience with PHP programming and MySQL (or MSSQL) databases in web development.
Expert/advanced level Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.
Solid understanding of website construction and maintenance with expertise in these protocols and languages: HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP.
2-3 years of Internet design and website production experience.
Familiarity with Flash development and Actionscript.
Experience in working within a team environment, as well as independently with little supervision.
Experience and ability to deal with people at all levels and build trust and confidence with clients, management and employees.
Must be able to prioritize tasks in an open office environment including the ability to accept interruptions as part of the routine.
Demonstrated ability to manage details, efficient work habits, and flexibility.
The candidate must be results- and people-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.
The candidate must live in or be willing to relocate to the Edmonton, AB area.
